JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
What is a Caregiver?
Caregivers at PC Home Health, make at home visits to their clients. They assist clients with tasks such as, bathing/grooming, meal preparation, medication reminders and so much more. They get to socialize and care for their clients at a personal level, where they essentially become family!
Meal Preparation
Plan, prepare, reheat/serve meals to your client’s. Whether the meal is a personal favorite of their’s or a meal focused on a special diet, you get to serve them.
Medication Reminders
As caregivers, we don’t get to administer medications. However, we can encourage, remind and give visual cues to ensure that our client’s get their medication and get it on time.
Bathing/Grooming
We have the privilege of assisting our client’s through their daily grooming routine. Whether that’s helping them bathe, combing their hair, or assisting them with brushing their teeth, we help our clients feel confident within themselves.
Companionship
Everyone loves to hear stories about the good ole days, and as a caregiver at PC Home Health, you get the opportunity to learn about your client and their past. Assist them on appointments and lend a listening ear and a caring heart.
